Miranda and Ethan

When I say that this is the girl that started it all, it's because Miranda is my daughter, and she is the reason I began to delve more passionately into photography. I received my first "fancy" digital camera from my husband as a Christmas gift when Miranda was 3 years old. Since she is so adorable, she naturally became my test subject! Now she'll be turning 8 soon and I can't help but think of how quickly time has passed! Here are some photos of her 8th birthday mini-shoot followed by my new little photography guinea pig, Ethan. Ethan just turned 9 months old and I have him modeling all my latest vendor items! For this shoot I ordered some awesome suspenders from Simply Adore Me. She makes some rad stuff.

Marcos | 5th Birthday!

Marcos' mommy knows that he is going to be a HEARTBREAKER! One look at this little guy and all the charm he exudes, and you just know. Monica (mommy) and I were discussing shoot locations and ideas a few weeks ago, and then I suggested Pasadena. I hadn't done any shoots there and something in my mind that I wanted to bring to fruition. Monica was all for it... then the day before the shoot we added a few key props. Marcos totally rocked it! I also want to say to Monica that she really made a such a happy photographer. Her reaction to his photos made my heart really, really happy. Thank you Monica...
